london is definitely british, through and through.
there's been a sore lack of extracurricular activity as i've fallen asleep by 5 pm since I got here.
this morning at 5, I set out - bright and chipper - towards trafalgar and big ben. with no traffic, biking isn't all bad, pleasant even.
biked along the thames and the london eye/ tate modern.
found a nice sidewalk cafe to have a breakfast of meat, meat, and meat.
then the hazards began their downpour, literally. rain, slippery cobbled roads, ROARING traffic down two lane roads where everyone drives on the *ahem* WRONG side!!! seriously, what the fucken hell! twice i was told to get off the sidewalk by helpful londoners. i didn't have the energy to tell them there were no bike lanes for me to bike in.
so, meander and cruise around town, by 8 I'm getting kind of tired you know? 4 hours nonstop isn't as fun as it sounds.
and if that doesn't sound fun at all, think about how fun it actually was.
once the bike chain came undone, for several hours the bike seat kept adjusting itself backwards and I had to stop and set it forwards so there wouldn't be a black foam penis coming out from my crotch area.
cruised around buckingham palace and felt thoroughly low-class, until i remembered that i would become an international art star and that british high society would be begging me to paint just one more commission...yes, it will happen.
i gave up and hailed an extremely overpriced cab, then biked the last stretch home. bought myself 3 beers and 2 smirnoff ices.

yesterday f and i showed matt's vancouver friends around la, went to yet another japanese festival - there's been a ton of those happening lately! - i bought a long yellow shirt from popkillers and a large black and yellow shirt from nogorito? we were soooo tired from spending the night at the beach so we took a nap at echo park. he was being a total motherfucker on the way there, like stopping abruptly and making loud noises bc he didn't want me to fall asleep. ???
we went to the fuck yeah festival at the echo which was v. v. excellent. especially mae shi. RJ was there which is also excellent bc i haven't seen him for years due to his exile in riverside. Fatima's friend from her band was playing in this other band on the street and he gave me a sticker.
i took a costco value bag from the kitchen and threw bags of sun chips out into the crowd and handed them out. people are so apprehensive about free shit. you KNOW you wanna take it!
laterrrr there was blow up la happening at olive and pico so we went and grooved down by ourselve until more people started arriving. the display of dance moves shown was wildly erratic, from 30 year old "sexy" moms to revitalized cure member with a faggy routine involving waving elbows and gyrating hips, to this awesome 20 something chubs white dude with the cutest crip walk. setting was cool. shoulda had edibles.......!

everybody's a winner
today soffs and i journeyed to la brea and melrose for some cast offs selling. for cheapo chinese fakes i made $86 at wasteland!! then $30 PLUS a pair of ultrasweet white adidas ankle trainer boots from buffalo. in perfect condition. we had lunch at the american rag maison/cafe place, pretending to be every other la fedora toting ray ban wearing hipster. except not.
i had the besttt steak salad. all the prices there are the same, salad or steak.
we went to goodwill in search of some manageable furs, found none, but instead i was blessed by the thrift gods with a vintage dooney and bourke tan/beige leather bag and golden sneakers!! for $11 total. :D :D
this past china trip has been epic for me, especially the last month. most memorable events i've ever experienced. i feel more self assured than ever, and am striving for self improvement....without sacrificing personality or personal objectives bien sur.

God Awful Small Affair
Oh Mannn last night was so OC royalty at vuitton. i downed one champagne after another and stuffed my face with warm wild mushroom crisps. so good, shaped like a bag of catnip with flaky exterior. then soffs picked me up and we went to crush. we got in through the back instead of paying $ at the door. i found a bottle of wine in a giftbag tied to a bunch of balloons so i took the wine, tipped the bartender for use of his bottle opener, and had some more alcoholic fun.
this group of sophomore newport beach kids were there being obnoxious but cute. they all wore coryesque shit. like headbands around the hair. egh!
woke up at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep so i wrote calligraphy on felipe's back. hahahah! like in pillow book. his skin is perfect for that shittt. going to la later to sell clothes and other mundane tasks.
oh yeah last friday driving on fairfax felipe and i spotted these hoes getting frisked in a shaaady parking lot. it was intennnse!
and then we caught jimmy tamborello at ameoba. his new stuff sounds sweet like cream filling.
